Prime ingredients used are Cowpea, Postodana/Poppy seed and various types of Spices with Postodana/Poppy seeds as its base. It is so delicate & unique that Rabindranath Tagore got so attracted that he preserved photographs of Goyna Bori in the art building of Shantinikatan. Due to lack of patronage this wonderful culinary art of Bengal is losing its eminence.
